German Luftwaffe Single Decal Helmet
Item: GM439

Original stamped steel M40 single decal helmet.  Helmet has a darkened finish which looks like it may have been laquered.  The LW decal is about 80-85% intact.  Shell is marked SE64, Sachsische Emaillerwerk, on the side.  Liner shows wear and is missing one of the fingers.  Missing most of the chin strap.  Top inside of the shell has some type of residue adhered to it.  Shell has light pitting inside and out.  May have been battlefield recovered shortly after the war
